Steelcase’s Walkstation- work and work-out at the same time

For those who don’t know the site “Book of Joe”, the man behind the blogging empire is religiously devoted to working out while writing, and prides himself on having integrated a treadmill into his workspace.Developed by both Steelcase, a furniture manufacturer, and James Levine from the Mayo ’s clinic(who’s been working in this specialized field for at least two years, apparently), this treadmill desk allows you to game, work or just look at salacious pictures on the internet and “work out” at the same time. The functions should be pretty obvious from the picture

The nicely-designed product is called the Walkstation and I’m not quite sure about its functionality in a common household. Maybe it would work better in an eccentric CEOs office.

Not many details are available on this mongrel piece of furniture, but some basic functions can be depicted from the picture. I can only say that the price is $6,500. So it’s up to you if you are interested to find out more.
