It’s true that you can’t really figure out from the pic how much slimmer and liter is the new PSP. All we know that it is guaranteed to be in fact 33% lighter and 19% slimmer.

It now comes equipped with a video out port, so you can watch your UMD videos, or even play games via your TV (as long as you’ve got the right cable, not supplied). It’s also possible now to recharge via USB from your PS3 or PC.

If you’re still not convinced to switch your old PSP here are other reasons. Now it comes in Piano Black plastic instead of the heavier metal previously seen and there’s additional RAM (faster loading times).

Apart from these…not much else…

It is available in stores since last week and if you indeed want to buy it costs $260.
