French mobile phone maker Sagem partnered with Porsche Design to create the stylish high-end P’9521 clamshell handset.
The Porsche phone sports a finger print sensor, 3.2MP camera, swivel screen and GSM and EDGE connectivity. Sagem announced a release of a 3G version of the Porsche phone for the spring of 2008.
The guys at the Brit division of Crave got their hands on a Sagem Porsche P’9521 cellphone and wrote that: “It’s not just a piece of rubbish with a Porsche logo on it—it is in fact a rather nifty clamshell handset.”
Sagem will bring the Porsche phone on the market this autumn for 1,200 Euro (~$1,600). There are no detailed specifications yet available. So the only inconvenient about this handset is this exquisite price. I’d rather buy 3 iPhones than paying to be a bit snobish for a couple of months, cause the rule says that designer signed gadgets are outdated after a few months on the market.
