Porsche 911 Turbo S controller
It’s not every day that an actual automaker creates a steering wheel for console gaming, so this Porsche 911 setup is especially awesome.
You get the picture.. you don’t have enough money to drive a brand new Porsche, but why not own a little bit of the experience with the Porsche 911 Turbo S steering wheel controller? This gaming peripheral is a fully licensed, to-spec reproduction of the real thing found in those lovely new 911s. This means the wheel, the 6+1 gear sticks, and the wireless pedals are all as authentic as you’re going to get in your living room.
It features force feedback technology and works with both PCs and PS3s, although it is strange to see the exclusion of the Xbox 360 platform that is more similar to the PC than the PS3 will ever be. Other goodies include sequential-action gear stick a declining-resistance clutch and pressure-sensitive brake. It’s all wireless, has force feedback, 100-hour battery life and table clamps.
Plus it comes with a Porsche….no not a car but an USB stick to show off to the (nerdy) ladies. It will be buyable later this year for a fair price of $350.
