DLO’s iPhone-shielded Portable Speakers

For all the iLovers here is a new gadget for your fabulous piece of gadget. It is intended to make your life easier..I mean to ease your way to your favourite tracks stored on your “fabulous device” again, the iPhone. At least, now all the pinky gadgets for the iPods will disappear …and the pinky gadgets for the iPhone will be born.

Digital Lifestyle Outfitters has introduced its Portable Speakers for iPhone. The compact speaker system is shielded from TDMA interference, and connects to the iPhone via the handset’s headphone jack, making it compatible with a wide range of alternate audio sources, including every model of iPod. Other features include two compact speakers which snap into the base for greater portability, a rotating, removable stand, and the ability to act as a speaker phone when a connected iPhone receives a call.

The speakers are powered by either AAA batteries or by the included AC adapter, and the speaker base features a recessed area for cord storage and management. The DLO Portable Speakers for iPhone are available now and sell for $50.

Jawbone- the best Bluetooth headset out there

The Jawbone is a great Bluetooth headset. It was rated as the best in its kind. Ever. This is what you can find out on their website. It passed the toughest test such a device can have : the streets of NYC.

Let’s start with the “Noise Shield”. Having this option on/off is like night and day. For those on the other end it was a pleasant experience so long as it was turned on. Any noise other than the voice was eliminated immediately. And I’m not talking about birds chirping or anything pleasant. We’re talking about cars roaring by honking their horns and all sorts of other loud and obnoxious sounds that reverberate throughout the streets of Manhattan. Once it was turned off, the noise was overwhelming and your voice was no longer the center of attention. Of all the Bluetooth headsets this is by far the best at blocking out excessive noise.

You can find it in on three colours: black, silver and red. It looks rather interesting and it is for sure a style statement. Without a doubt it is the best noise canceling Bluetooth headset out on the market. Now, I know it’s been out there for a while. It’s readily available for $120, but I’m sure you can find it elsewhere for cheaper.

BTA-01, the Bluetooth speaker dockSource

This is a great gadget for all of you who “actually” use your musicphone for music . There are not so many docks for musicphones  and this little Bluetooth adapter from Intempo turns any iPod speaker dock with a dock connector into speakers for musicphones that have stereo Bluetooth.The BTA-01 is simple to use, apparently taking less than 10 seconds to connect to your Bluetooth music player.

Measuring 600 x 500 x 10mm and weighing in at 80 grams, the BTA is compatible with any Bluetooth v1.2 device and covers a range of up to 10 metres.

“Mobile phone technology is advancing rapidly and many models now have Bluetooth and impressive MP3 functionality”, says Katie Richards, marketing manager at Intempo.

Tekkeon’s iPod dock – NavDock ND2000

From all the iPod gadgets and docks released in the last months, it was about time to have something really useful on the market. The NavDock ND2000 released by Tekkeon is one of the smarter iPod docks released. Who doesn’t want to see those video podcasts or other downloaded content from your ipod on a larger screen.Well the Navdock allows you to do that – just insert any generation of the iPod from the oldest to the latest (iPod Touch), except for the iPhone and you see a menu screen pop that gives you access to all your goodies.

The 16-button remote fits snugly into the ND2000 as well when not in use to reduce the clutter around your home.The dock’s design is very sleek and compact and won’t impose its presence in your living room.

There is no word on pricing, but it ought to hit retail stores near you pretty soon. Do you prefer iPod docks such as these or a simple pair of iPod glasses?

We all know that digital photo frames these days do not just display photos, they are more than capable of playing both video and audio as well. So what should there be left to take out on the market ,in this domain, in order to surprise the buyers?

Gilty Couture cases for Luxury iPodSource

iDiamond year for spoiled brats

Jeweller Thomas Heyerdahl in Oslo / Norway is launching ”iDiamond ear” for commercial sale.

Earlier this year, Heyerdahl created the world’s most expensive iPod, named ”iDiamond”. This was crafted as one unique and single piece of jewellery, not for commercial sale, and will be auctioned away for charitable cause in London 13th of March 2008.

Following the overwhelming response to iDiamond from media, customers and the industry, Heyerdahl decided to go ahead with his idea for the world’s most exclusive earphones for commercial sale. This new creation is named ”iDiamond ear”.

“iDiamond ear” uniquely and most innovatively combines traditional handcraft with modern technology into a high end exclusive piece of jewellery with comprehensive high-tech earphone functionality.

Each carefully crafted pair is set with 204 diamonds, adding up to a total of 1,65 carats. “iDiamond ear” will be produced in a limited edition series of 1000 numbered pairs for exclusivity.

“iDiamond ear” will be available at leading jewellery stores worldwide from February 2008.

Need an alarm clock? A radio tuner? ? An iPod dock? Well, LG has got you covered with their PC12 dock / HD radio.

Isn’t it cute? Fluffy and round!Thank Good is not pink !It looks like a little football!

Anyway, the PC12 iPod dock has HD radio and standard clock radio functions. As you can see the read-out pops up on the dark face and it supports USB audio as well as standard audio-in.Amazing? Nah. Round? Yes.

I don’t know the availability date, but what the heck you could just get any of the other 5,000 clock radio/iPod docks out there while you wait.
